Job Description

A Concession Manager works in a specific area of the shop to sell a specific brand; they are normally employed by the company (brand) whose products they are selling rather than the actual store they are working in. Responsibilities will include making sure that their department is well merchandised and maintained, recruiting any staff needed and ensuring that sales and profitability are maximised.

Entry Requirements

There are no set qualifications to become a Concession Manager but experience working in a retail environment, vast product knowledge and the ability to be able to communicate with others is essential. 

Required Skills

A strong interest in the products you are selling, able to make decisions, good interpersonal and customer service abilities, able to work under pressure to meet targets, creative, organised, good IT skills.

Starting Salary

£16,000 to £25,000
