Corporate Investment Bankers deal with companies, institutions and governments to offer a range of financial services including mergers, acquisitions, privatisation as well as strategic opportunities, they may also advise and lead management buyouts, raise capital, provide strategic advice to clients and identify and secure new deals.
A 2:1 degree preferably finance related such as economics/maths/actuary science/finance/accounting. A Masters Degrees in financial market analysis would be an advantage.
Strong numerical skills, good communication and interpersonal abilities, confident, able to work to deadlines, the ability to work well under pressure and make difficult decisions where necessary.
