Electricians install and repair wiring systems in the home and on building sites, some Electricians are responsible for maintenance of electrical equipment used in industry and commerce. Depending on the type of electrician, day-to-day work can range from installing CCTV, testing the wiring in a factory or installing new electrics in somebody's home.
A common route to become an Electrician would be through an apprenticeship. You would probably require 4 GCSE's to include Maths, Science and English.
