About the British Heart Foundation

We are the nation's heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research. Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer but we are leading the fight against it. Our pioneering research has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.

A vision for a better future

Our vision is a world where people don't die prematurely from heart disease.

Over the past months we have been reviewing our strategic approach with the help of staff, supporters and stakeholders.

Our new strategy will give us powerful focus in our fight for every heartbeat, and enable us to lead the fight against cardiovascular disease more effectively. We'll continue the fight through our pioneering heart research, vital prevention and survival activity and ensuring quality care and support for everyone living with heart disease.

Ipswich Furniture & Electrical Store

The Ipswich Furniture & Electrical store sells a wide variety of good quality pre-owned furniture and home appliances; from sofas, suites, chairs, tables, beds and wardrobes to TVs, Hi-Fi systems, washing machines, fridges and dishwashers. Whether customers are looking looking for a modern item, an antique gem or something chic, this store is the ideal hunting ground.

We receive fresh stock daily, all of which is quality checked. Our range includes:

  • sofas
  • beds
  • wardrobes
  • tables
  • chairs

We also have new furniture and electrical items.

Our store wouldn't be able to run without the help of a fantastic volunteer team. Our volunteers help with everything from merchandising on the shop floor and giving great customer service at the till to sorting and pricing the generous donations we are given in the warehouse.

Whether you have a specific skill or interest or just want to try something new, we have a role for everyone. Find out more about volunteering in our shops.
