About us

Sanctuary Personnel is an award-winning recruitment company based in Ipswich town centre delivering health, social care and criminal justice professionals to employers throughout the UK.

Our company is a supporter of the ‘Youth Pledge’ and part of the ‘Movement to Work,’ an initiative to encourage employers across the country to do more to help unemployed young people. We are proud to say we currently have over 40 apprentices and as one of the largest employers of apprentices in the region, we are dedicated to giving young people the best possible entry into the workplace.

We continually look to evolve and grow our team to build on our successful apprenticeship academy. Our large, diverse workforce ensures that the skills of apprentices are fully utilised across our departments in the most effective way.

Why us?

Sanctuary Personnel has grown at a rapid rate over the last 10 years and our young and dynamic workforce remains a key part of our continued success.

We care about the education and skill building of our apprentices and help them to achieve their goals and make a difference at Sanctuary Personnel.

As such, our very successful apprenticeship academy has been designed for driven and ambitious individuals who have a desire to learn and progress in fast-paced working environments.

In return, we offer training across key business areas that help students build careers in marketing, finance, sales, IT, business administration, candidate resourcing, compliance and customer service.

Our apprenticeship academy allows apprentices to gain practical experience in the workplace. As a result, many of our apprentices develop transferable skills that make it easy for them to move into many different business roles and be more desirable by employers, including us.

How it works

As a commercial business, we understand that apprenticeship training needs to fit around your needs. We therefore like to work closely with you to discuss your specific requirements and ensure that your needs are confidently met.

We will spend time with you to carry out an initial assessment of your knowledge, skills and abilities and will devise a structured learning plan.

Our extensive experience of training successful apprentices has made us passionate about the training we deliver today, which is why we go the extra step to maintain regular progress reviews with you and your trainer.

Our assessors will be responsible for:

  • Developing a training plan
  • Guiding you to generate a portfolio of your work at Sanctuary
  • Coaching you and offering support
  • Ensuring you are fully safeguarded in your department

Assessments will be carried out by a range of methods, including:

  • On-the job observation
  • Project evaluation
  • Testimonies by mentors and managers
  • Off-the-job training
