Whats on offer?

The Suffolk Skills Show is the largest employer-led skills and careers event in the area.  It features over 100 exhibitors and more than 5000 visitors are expected in 2018, following the success of the 2015, 2016 and 2017 events.  The Show offers the chance to meet over 100 employers and trainers and 'have a go' at fun career-based activities.

The Show offers young people, and those within their sphere of influence, the opportunity to ‘have a go’ at a range of work related skills, speak to employers from all over Suffolk, many with global operations. It will offer the chance to look at specific careers, talk to people already doing the jobs, and gain an understanding of the routes in to employment or further education.  For employers the show provides a unique opportunity to showcase their businesses and industry to a large number of local young people, meeting and shaping the employees of the future.

Schools, Groups & Visitors

Talk to apprentices, employees, and students already doing want you want to know about,  ask about what you might earn, and how to get the right skills and even the possibility of progression and career opportunities within different companies.

You can register here:  https://www.suffolkskillsshow.com/schools-groups-visitors/

The Suffolk Skills Show will give you ideas about how you can turn your best subjects into the kind of skills and qualifications you need for apprenticeships and ultimately careers that are available with local and national organisations. See demonstrations, watch challenges, and take part in 'Have a Go' events with all kinds of businesses. Turn what you like to do, in to what you do everyday!
