The Archiving and Office assistant will be working in the Cathedral office as part of the ongoing archiving project and also providing some administrative assistance where needed. The post holder will be supporting the archiving project by scanning documents into the Cathedral’s electronic archive and setting up a file name system for the documents to be easily accessible. They will also gain experience of working in an office environment and learning key administration skills, which will be transferable to other roles in the future. Roles and Responsibilities: Scanning documents, filing, answering telephone queries, covering reception when the need arises, dealing with incoming and outgoing post on certain days of the week, updating spreadsheets, formatting word documents and other administrative tasks as and when they arise.
