Responsible for supporting teachers/learners and delivering exceptional beauty treatments whilst maintaining high levels of professionalism and client care at all times. Support the Salon Manager to promote all salon services ensuring maximum salon profitability.
Responsible to: Salon Manager Responsibilities:
Completing in-house training in the application and theory of make-up application and beauty treatments. Observing Make Up Artists and Beauticians completing services and assisting where required. Practicing treatments and make up application, taught by an in-house accredited tutor (business owner) and when deemed competent you will have the opportunity to complete treatments and applications on customers.
Adhere to financial guidelines e.g. expenditure, salon overheads, targets as dictated by the Salon Manager. Ensure the salon operates to maximize commercial profitability. Actively promote the sale of additional products and services to maintain a high level of retail sales. Promote the salon’s facilities and services to maximize commercial profitability and raise brand awareness and image. Support the Salon Manager with any events the salon may enter into with the purpose of promoting and raising brand awareness and image. Assist the Salon Manager with marketing initiatives to grow brand awareness and increase local market share resulting in new clients visiting the salon. Ensure the delivery of all technical services and standards are fulfilled at all times. Take personal responsibility and ownership for own development. Prioritize and promote a learning culture within the salon. Ensure Health and Safety guidelines and policies are maintained and championed to provide safe working practices for both team members and clients. Escalate any risk without delay to Salon Manager. Provide the highest level of customer service at all times as per the Kiss & makeup UK Academy Service Policy. Minimize customer complaints by ensuring all services are delivered to the agreed standard. Carry out all duties in accordance with the Kiss & makeup UK Academy Policies, Procedures and Processes. Request support from Salon Manager where applicable to ensure compliance. Set a positive example in specific areas such as behaviour, attitude and appearance adhering to company guidelines and policies in such areas. Work to the needs of the business, taking into consideration peak trade, holidays, weekends and evenings. Champion a sense of team work with all team members to help support and cover potential staff absences again to ensure business need is met. Incorporate into the role the businesses vision, mission and core values statements. Work every day to Kiss & makeup UK Academy culture and provide encouragement to all team members to work in the same way to meet and exceed expectations. Treat all team members and clients with respect and dignity adhering to the businesses Equality and Diversity Policy.
