As an Early Years Support Worker you will be required to assist the class teacher, supporting pupils with basic skills. Working closely with the children to support their developmental targets and being concerned with their general welfare, including matters relating to personal hygiene and health. In addition, you will ensure up-to-date records of the childrens progress is being kept as part of the monitoring and reviewing of educational work programmes within the individual online profiles and to track childrens progress through the production of online learning journals.
You will be required to participate in school lunches with the children and undertake outdoor play supervision within the school and before and after-school duties where applicable.
You will also be responsible for the setting up and clearing away of activities in the class as a whole.
