This is an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable experience. The play worker will assist with day to day activities of the club, providing quality childcare within the framework of the clubs policies and procedures. They will assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment. They will provide comprehensive care for the children, including collecting them from school and delivering them safely to parents or carers. They will set up the play space, including moving furniture and play equipment, and provide refreshments, ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met. They will administer first aid when necessary, upon receiving appropriate training. They will consult with children, involving them in planning activities. They will help with club administration and encourage parental involvement. They will facilitate good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and school. They will keep the work environment healthy, safe and secure, working within the framework of the clubs policies and procedures and adhering to all Covid19 procedures. Skools Out is an out of school day care based in Cambridgeshire. Skools Out is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
