As a Library Service Trainee, you will be part of a welcoming and supportive team.
You will be assisting in the provision of a friendly, efficient, front-line public service to customers of Cambridgeshire Libraries.
You will have a natural flair for working with people and a drive to create a friendly, welcoming environment for a diverse range of customers.
You will use and develop your existing IT skills using the relevant computer systems to complete tasks and answer customer queries including the provision of digital assistance.
You will develop your administrative skills by assisting and contributing to the operational routines in the library you are appointed to work.
There will be scope for you to promote the service in the wider community both virtually and in person, building your confidence and communication skills.
There will be a chance to share and develop your creative skills by producing displays and promotions using digital and physical resources.
This role also provides an opportunity to get involved with the organisation and delivery of events for a wide variety of audiences.
