About

13th October 2021

As a Chocolate Maker’s Assistant, you will be working directly with the Chocolate Makers. We are a small family business and there are just three of us, so you’d be an important part of the team. It’s a hands-on job and you’d be involved in lots of tasks to do with making chocolate. The main work is packing stock, folding boxes, cleaning equipment and production areas together with general help and support in the making of chocolate.

Must be interested in food, a motivated team player with very good hygiene practice that takes pride in their work.

Is there public transport near by?

There’s a regular bus service to Claydon (Greyhound and Chequers PH stops) and we would be willing to collect and drop off the successful candidate from the bus to enable them to get into work easily if needed.

Additional support offered by employer:

During the six-month period, support will be offered to increase your employability prospects.

As well as gaining an understanding of HACCP and food safety procedures. We will fund your Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate while working for us.

Every two months there will be a short appraisal to assess your general progress on attendance, timekeeping, and teamwork. This is also a time when you can provide your own feedback and ask any questions.

Towards the end of the six months, if you have shown aptitude and are a good fit we would look to offer you a permanent job with us.
