The Volunteer Coordinator will be involved in the advertising, selection and recruitment of volunteers and all elements of volunteering in addition to matching volunteers with volunteering opportunities
Liaising with the General Manager to understand the support we provide, the post involves working closely with the office team and being able to assess the voluntary needs of the organisation as well as develop relationships with the specialist centres to respond to patient needs. The role will involve working with and reporting to the General Manager to develop briefs and guidelines for new volunteering roles and developing a volunteer reward programme
The role involves assessing and meeting the organisations needs through the recruitment, placement, training and retention of volunteers. It involves management of volunteers and the relationships with those they come into contact with, including ACHD patients, healthcare professionals and office staff.
