Core responsibilities including: To sort donations into what is saleable and what needs to be re-distributed correctly. To price items appropriately. To display items to a high standard and keep the whole shop area clean and tidy. To serve customers with a polite and friendly manner, offering excellent customer service. To tidy and stock up the Hygiene Bank as and when needed. To flag up to the manager when stock is running low of any items. To prepare ‘Grab Bags’ for the No Child Goes Hungry Scheme. To occasionally work alongside young people at the project, leading by example and being a positive role model at all times. To undertake training and attend team meetings and staff supervision. Develop effective relationships with other agencies that are working with the young people. Promote the charity in a positive manner to other businesses and services, encouraging joined up working where possible. To undertake other appropriate tasks needed to support the running of the project.
