Contacting customers and arranging deliveries.
Entering all delivery dates in the system.
Answering phones calls dealing with enquires in a friendly and professional manner.
Generating delivery paperwork for the following day, including all customer delivery instructions.
Dealing with customer service issues/complaints promptly and in a sympathetic manner.
Obtaining outstanding balance payments from customers prior to delivery or checking for Interest Free Credit arrangements as applicable.
Confirming all deliveries at the end of the day, once deliveries are complete.
Completing all banking procedures accurately and in line with policy.
Check expense invoices for payment.
Take action on delivery incident reports.
Actively manage the CSC system through daily checks and data management i.e., Downloading Driver’s pictures, inputting pre-delivery inspection reports, attaching to the CSC system, or emailing to the store.
Ensure you understand and comply fully with all Fire and Health and Safety legislation and company procedures in respect of yourself, customers, visitors, and colleagues i.e., manual handling.
Ensure you understand and comply fully with all security procedures in respect of yourself, customers, visitors, and colleagues. This includes data security and the storage and disposal of company, employee, and customer information.
