The role will be based in the office and will be responsible for helping to stay on top of our stock and operations within the business for both www.enertor.com and also www.medical.enertor.com. This role will involve updating the stock systems (training will be given for this) and working with the suppliers to ensure adequate stock is ordered keeping our safety stock at the required levels. To produce a long term forecast based on sales rates for all the critical stock items and liaise with the production team, marketing/commercial team and external suppliers to ensure that that everyone has visibility of any likely future spikes from marketing activity and there is sufficient capacity built into the production plans to ensure stock is always available.
Other aspects to the job will be to help the production staff ensure they have the stock and parts they need in the right place at the right time. This will involve picking inventory from the warehouse, storage container and ensuring it is in the right place for the production team and office team for dispatch of final products.
Helping to manage stock and keeping track of stock and sending new stock orders to suppliers.
Preparing purchase orders for new stock and liaising with accounting to ensure that supplier invoices are paid on time to ensure no delay in stock delivery. Keep on top of stock and flagging to management any risk areas where we are getting low on stock. Also to help support the overall team when busy on packing, labelling boxes and distributing of stock.
