The successful applicants will be working in the locations that are local to them. In case they need to travel, they will be supported with transportation cost. They will be sent to work in a location of their choice based on their availability on a weekly monthly basis. But our aim is that the successful applicant works at least 3 times in a week. Further details will be discussed and agreed during interview onboarding.
The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate is to provide quality personal care to the service user in accordance with the care plan. He she is expected to assist residents meet their physical and emotional needs. On a daily basis, he she responds to service user’s needs such as feeding, grooming, bathing as at when needed. Furthermore, the Care Assistant will help service user in taking temperatures, respiration and weight measurement.
The Care Assistant is to make sure that service user is wearing clothes that are clean and free and in good condition. As part of his/her responsibilities, attention must be given to assistive devices such as walkers It is the responsibility of the Care Assistant to support service user in ways that meets individual needs and desires while being mindful of changes in appetites and circumstances to eat and drink. The Care Assistant is expected to encourage service user to participate in normal daily activities.
The Care Assistant will be required to assist service user with personal laundry, dispose of all incontinent product according international acceptable standard and company policy. He she provides emotional support to the service user. The successful candidate should act promptly and responsibly in cases of emergency by quickly informing the physicians about unusual behaviour. As part of his/her duties, may be required to record patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, and weight.
Working hours: The minimum is 25hrs per week
