Candidates will learn about infection control processes and be responsible for keeping the environment clean and sterile on a daily basis.
Candidates will learn and be responsible about the correct use of chemicals and COSHH (control of substances hazardous to health).
Candidates will learn to operate the infection control equipment such as fogging machines, and air purification systems.
They will be responsible for health and safety policies surrounding workplace cleanliness.
They will be responsible for the correct use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and laundry facilities.
In order to understand the social care sector, the company and our residents, all trainees will be given the opportunity to qualify on at least 20 certified courses during the period of their training which include: moving and handling, infection control, dementia, safeguarding of adults and children, pressure sores etc.
