Office Admin assistant responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Admin assistant will be expected to answer and direct phone calls, In addition, they will be expected to organize and schedule meetings and appointments and maintain contact lists. Assistants will learn to produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms and help assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports. Such reports may require the development and maintaining of a filing system, which would be a task for an administrative assistant. Other duties may include ordering office supplies booking travel arrangements, submitting and reconciling expense reports and providing general support to visitors. They will also be tasked with ad hoc tasks, contacting clients, setting up meetings and managing schedules. The candidate will learn how to multitask, pay attention to detail, communication skills, etc.
