You will be trained in the skills needed whilst working in a kitchen-based role in hospitality. These will include the cooking of menu items to set specifications, the cooking methods involved, the running of specific kitchen sections such as breakfast, starters, dessert, grill and fish, ensuring food quality and presentation to high standards, use & maintenance of kitchen equipment, knife skills, managing stock and deliveries, food storage, shift preparation & close down, and working within required food and health and safety practices.
