To undertake porterage and handyperson duties, including moving goods and furniture, minor repairs to property, fixtures, fittings and equipment.
To clear litter and other debris from areas within the site boundaries.
To support with routine maintenance tasks.
Undertake appropriate repairs e.g. redecorating and fixing, changing light bulbs, unblocking drains.
Collect and assemble waste for removal, including recycling.
To support with setup for school events.
To supervise or support contractors with maintenance tasks.
To make sure the site is kept in a clean, tidy, well maintained and safe condition.
To support the completion of all service tasks in accordance with the specification.
To ensure that the general upkeep and maintenance of the premises is safe and fit for purpose.
To undertake general duties, such as collection and distribution of mail, dealing with lost property, general cleaning of store rooms and boiler rooms, obtaining or storing equipment for teaching and other staff.
