The main responsibility of the role is actively prospecting potential new clients for the company, initially engaging with them through phone calls, emails and social media. The role will require you to gain an understanding of their current energy contract details and schedule future follow-ups at the relevant time when they will be due to review their energy contract arrangements before handing the prospect over to a Senior Account Manager to complete the new client acquisition process.
The key activities of the role will include making phone calls to businesses and discussing their energy contracts, inputting information into the CRM systems. Researching and engaging with businesses over social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter). Generating and sending marketing literatures via email or social media, responding to emails and customer enquiries. Engaging with existing clients and third-party partners. General administrative support to the sales team.
Regular Day to Day support, training and feedback will be provided to help candidates adapt to the role quickly. While there will be no direct sales target for this role, there will be other key performance indicators that the successful applicants will be targeted on. Regular team and individual incentives will be in place to reward good performance and effort.
