This gives us an ideal opportunity to train those looking to get into health and social care to get some basic care qualifications as well as practical on the job experience working amongst qualified care teams. All trainees will be given the opportunity to qualify on at least 20 certified courses during the period of their training which include: moving and handling, infection control, dementia, safeguarding of adults and children, pressure sores etc.
Trainees will learn what is required in order to deliver high quality care to a resident and how to do this is in manner which preserves their dignity, well-being and also their identity.
Candidates will learn the KLOEs (Caring, Effective, Responsive, Safe & Well Led) and what is needed to maintain them.
Candidates will be responsible for delivering a high quality of care to all residents, while also documenting this on our online system (Care Docs).
