Main description

For more than 60 years, ARDEX has been a quality leader for the flooring and tiling industries, the brand of choice for installers and distributors. ARDEX today is still an independent family-owned business. They have an exciting opportunity for an accounts apprentice to join the team.

Day to day duties include:

Managing incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
Working with spreadsheets.
Working with sales and purchase ledgers.
Receiving and processing invoices, expense forms and requests for payments.
Assisting with Credit Control with duties including assisting with debt collection, obtaining approval for credit limits, processing new  accounts and processing credit notes.
Managing Petty cash transactions.
We are currently looking for an Accounts Apprentice to join our team where you will develop your skills in the Accounts field and support the Accounting function, whilst working towards a recognised NVQ qualification. This role will be based at our ARDEX office in Haverhill, Suffolk. The working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 with time off to attend college provided.

Entry requirements

Maths & English GCSE - Grade 4(C) and above, or equivalent.

Skills required

Has good IT skills.

Will contribute to the team using good interpersonal and communications skills.

Training to be Provided

Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship
AAT Level 2 qualification
