Ringshall School is an education setting for primary school pupils ages 4 to 11. There is an exciting opportunity for an administration apprentice to join their team.
Main responsibilities include:
Meet & greet pupils, parent and visitors.
Maintaining confidential records.
Answering the telephone.
Booking school lunches and administering online payments.
Managing email and text communication.
Inputting to our database.
Preparing paperwork for distribution.
Supporting with start and end of day processes.
Managing the organisation of pupil visits.
This is a new position within the school and there is the possibility of further training, for the right candidate, at the end of this apprenticeship should they wish.
GCSE Grade A*-C (9-4) in English and Maths are essential
Working understanding of Google docs.
Good English grammar, spelling and handwriting skills
Strong IT skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work within a team and alone.
Good attention to detail.
Confident and reliable.
Understands confidentiality and is trustworthy.

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship
Things to consider
Safeguarding and Confidentiality is key to this role. All tasks are interlinked and have various time pressures attached to them. You will be working within a key part of the school, which has huge responsibility to the smooth running of the day.
The school in in the process of restructuring the office and there is the possibility of employment at the end of the apprenticeship for the right candidate. The school is also part of a 14 school multi academy trust so there are possible opportunities with other linked schools.
