Working week
Between 9:00am – 5:00pm, Mondays to Friday – 1 hour lunch break. 5 days including 1 day release training day when workshops are running. Otherwise is normal working hours in the office. Total hours per week: 35.00

Desired qualifications
GCSE (or equivalent) grades A*-C or 9-4 English and maths or be prepared and willing to complete the Functional Skills qualifications in your own time alongside the apprenticeship. Training for this provided by Adult Learning. We offer a flexible delivery style suit every learners’ individual needs and requirements.


Initial duties and responsibilities will include all aspects of Purchase Ledger duties including:

  • Logging, maintaining and filing invoices
  • Payment authorisation
  • Payment processing
  • Posting and monitoring petty cash
  • Investigating purchase ledger queries
  • Creating company reports
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Maintaining the accuracy of vendor details

Other duties include petty cash management, expenses for staff, and various ad hoc duties expected within a Finance Department.
