Hollow Trees Farm at Semer is a Farm Shop established more than 30 years ago and prides itself on home grown produce and rears livestock to produce beef, pork, lamb and goat for the butchery. Alongside traditional cuts are a range of "cook in the tin" convenience meals which have been developed by the innovative and forward thinking butchery team. 


Working week
Approximately 40 hours per week over 5 days. Exact days and hours TBC. Total hours per week: 40.00
Expected duration
2 years

Desired qualifications
Numeracy and Literacy although support can be given to gain the required level.


The successful applicant will earn while they learn. Developing a valued skill, growing in confidence and learning about delivering excellent customer service are all parts of this role. 

You will be trained in all aspects of the meat industry including (but not be limited to):

  • Cutting meat for retail sale
  • Serving customers
  • Cleaning
  • Making sausages
