Summary
Long Stratton Medical Partnership is a rural practice based over 2 sites with a patient list of around 11,500. We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Dispenser to join our Dispensary Team.
Annual wage: £12,480 a year
The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed
Training course: Pharmacy services assistant (level 2)
Hours: Monday - Friday, between 9.00am and 5.00pm, though the hours are to be discussed.37 hours a week
Possible start date: Wednesday 23 October

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Main duties include:
- Processing patient Acute & Repeat medication
- Ensuring the correct labelling of drugs & medicines
- Dispensing drugs & medications to patients
- Collect all due prescription charges
- Endorse all prescription forms as appropriate
- Operate efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the Practice

- The learner will be studying the Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.

GCSE or equivalent in:
- Maths and English (grade 4-9)
