Swift Electrical Rewinds Ltd are a repairs and overhauls workshop of electric motors, pumps and fans etc. . They are currently looking for a Electrical Engineer apprentice to join their team.
Main description
Repairs and overhauls in workshop of electric motors, pumps and fans etc.
Main Duties:
Assist while learning the repair and overhaul of all types of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Testing, dismantling, repairing, rewinding, re-assembling, testing, painting.
Delivering, filling in job sheets.
Entry requirements
GCSE Maths and English Grade 5-9 or A-C required.
Skills required
Organisation skills
Problem solving skills
Initiative
Training to be Provided
The learner will be studying the Engineering Fitter Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
Things to consider
This role is workshop-based and some bench work will be involved.
Future Prospects
The opportunity to secure long term employment once the apprenticeship course has been completed.
