Wanted: Hard working individual with some experience required for arable work and work with cattle and sheep. Minimum 39 hour week, but hours will differ due to nature of the work.

We would like someone with a bit of experience/knowledge to join our busy team, we need an all rounder - willing to learn anything from tractor work, to working with cattle and sheep.

duties may include:

feeding

mucking out

health checks

tractor work

Accommodation could be available.

Experience:

Some experience with livestock, and some tractor work - but not essential

Qualifications:

Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A-D or 9- 3. Evidence of qualifications will be required

Training:

Qualification: Intermediate Agricultural apprenticeship

College Attendance: 6 x one week blocks in college- Easton Campus - starting in October

Training for all job specific tasks will be given. In addition the apprentice will have the support and guidance of a qualified assessor from the college, who will make on-site visits every 6-8 weeks. There may also be the occasional need to attend either the Otley or Easton campus for short training courses and tests.
