Job Description
Godolphin are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and hard-working Apprentice Gardener to join our small team based in Newmarket.
Reporting to the Head Gardener, you will be tasked with the maintenance of lawns using a variation of mowers and compact tractors and the maintenance, pruning, reshaping and general care of hedges, shrubs and perennials. Alongside your day-to-day duties you will be expected to carry out and complete a Level 2 apprenticeship in Landscaping and Horticulture.
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with a natural passion for gardening. We welcome applications from people who take great pride in their work and possess a genuine willingness to learn new skills and develop their knowledge of horticulture. Maths and English GCSE at a minimum of a grade 2 (E) or above is desirable, as is a clean driving licence.
