As an Apprentice Hospitality Team Member, you will work in a multi- skilled team, predominantly working front of house by greeting guests, taking orders, running food, clearing tables, preparing desserts, salads and sandwiches, and taking payments. You will assist with general upkeep, day to day cleaning and food safety duties.
Main duties will include:
Engage with customers to determine their needs and establish a good rapport
Deliver excellent customer service in line with business standards, with the aim of exceeding customer expectations
Check that customers are satisfied with products and services, and act on any feedback in line with our procedures
Promote the business and help identify opportunities to increase sales
Carefully handle payments, transactions, and stock
Keep an up-to-date knowledge of our products and services, prices and special offers, and matching them to the customer’s needs
Awareness of the business’ unique selling points, promotions and marketing campaigns
Recognise and understand legislative responsibilities relating to the business
Support team members to ensure products and services are delivered on time and to a high standard
Working hours will include mixed shifts, 5 days a week - AM shifts start from 7.00am, PM shifts start from 4.00pm. Restaurant opening hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 8.00am - 10.00pm and Sunday 9.00am - 2.00pm with 30 minute break (unpaid) every day.

Level 1 Functional Skills in English and Maths or GCSE Grade 2/E is preferable. If not, learners will be required to attend additional sessions.
Opportunities for a full paid position, progression on to Level 3 and a Senior Front of House role.

Candidates can start working part-time before the apprenticeship start date. Full time summer work is also available.
