Standard working week: Minimum 35 hours ON SITE from 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon -Fri with 1 hr unpaid breaks. Total hours per week: 35.00

Entry onto the apprenticeship is subject to a thorough initial assessment to establish course suitability. Ideally applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs (or equivalents) including English and maths at grades 9- 4 for a Level 3 Apprenticeship and 9-3 for a Level 2. Proof of qualifications will be required before you can be accepted onto the apprenticeship.
This role will consist of taking part in and carrying out a wide range of simple but relevant and essential tasks depending on the nature and specification of each project, with the candidate given the opportunity to learn a range of basic skills and techniques.
- They will be able to play a vital role in the completion of each project, whilst being able to observe and develop an understanding of how each project is completed
- With time on site, opportunities will be provided for the candidate to begin to learn and practice key skills and techniques required to become a basic landscape operative
- Hard and soft landscaping techniques
- Maintaining grounds
- Site safety
- Personal safety
The candidate will be working with the owner and key members of staff at all times, and always in real and valid project situations.
