We are looking for outgoing people to fill two apprenticeship positions at the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library which is one of the busiest and most vibrant libraries in UK.
The hours of work are 25 per week on a rota basis.
You will be an excellent communicator and be committed to delivering a high standard of customer service, working in a face-to-face environment and serving customers of all ages and from the whole community.
Based in the Millennium Library, we will support you to develop skills to support reading, learning and to help customer with developing their digital skills.
During the course of your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to complete a Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service supported by Norfolk Community Learning Service (NCLS) and to deliver a library-specific project, which can be agreed with your supervisor and your local training mentor. The post will include some weekday evening (until 7.00pm) and Saturday working.
All part time staff are required to be flexible as you may be called upon to cover staff absences due to sickness and holiday etc.
Please be advised that you will not be eligible to apply for these roles if you have a Level 4 qualification or above (e.g. Key Skills level 4, NVQ level 4, BTEC Professional award, certificate and diploma level, Certificate of higher education, HNC, Foundation Degree, Degree etc)
