Apprenticeship for a qualified Maintenance Engineering Technician. Fabrication, Installation and maintenance of plant and machinery. Testing, servicing and replacement of Air Handling Units and parts. Working for an established Engineering Company in some of the most prestigious buildings in Cambridge and the surrounding area.
Weekly wage- £187.50
Working week - Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00
Total hours per week: 37.50
Expected duration - 42 months
Possible start date - 14 Sep 2020
Apprenticeship level - Advanced Level 3 (A level)
Duties to include:
- Maintain equipment and workshop
- Some Fabrication work
- Assist Engineers with installation and servicing of AHU, ductwork, fire dampers, filters on site
- Interpreting technical specifications and documents
Requirements and prospects

- Able to absorb technical knowledge
- Able to cope with a flexible workload
- Keen to learn and be part of a small team.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is very important
- Good time keepin
Minimum GCSE or equivalent at grade C/4 in English & maths
Potential full time position within the company upon qualification.
Things to consider
Working in some of the most beautiful buildings and for some of the most prestigious clients in and around Cambridge. In remote historical places not often seen by the general public.
