Based at: Newmarket Racecourse

Contract type: Apprenticeship (24-month Fixed term) 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week  

About the role 

Join us as an Associate Project Manager Apprentice and play a vital role in planning, delivering, and improving projects that drive business success. Over 24 months, you’ll gain hands-on experience while studying towards a Level 4 qualification.

The Associate Project Manager Apprentice will

  • Support project planning, monitoring, and reporting activities
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communications
  • Track budgets, analyse risks, and help maintain project scope
  • Assist with resource, quality, and change management
  • Apply project governance, legislation, and ethical standards
  • Use digital tools for collaboration, scheduling, and reporting
  • Work within a structured framework aligned with business goals

About you

  • English and Maths at GCSE grade 4/C or above,  or functional skills at level 2 or above
  • Must have a full UK drivers licence and access to a vehicle
