** 14 month Fixed Term Contract - Apprenticeship **
We welcome applications from individuals wishing to become an Apprentice and gain experience in the NHS. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
You will be enrolled with a local education provider and will be required to complete your Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Programme within the duration of the placement.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Apprentice Administration and Clerical Assistant within the Radiology department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The Radiology department sits within the Diagnostic and Clinical Support Services division and provides diagnostic imaging and therapeutic treatments across a range of specialties across the Trust.
The successful candidate will provide key support to both the reception and bookings teams in the department, meaning that exceptional communication and teamwork skills are essential. The post holder will be responsible for attending patients for their imaging and the scheduling of appointments across a range of modalities and providing general office assistance. This varied workload will provide an excellent insight into hospital administration so if you feel that you have the skills that we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you!
All applicants must be:
- Aged 16+
- Resident in the UK/EEA for the last three years
- Must not have a Degree, Level 4 qualification or above
- Must NOT be in any form of formal government-funded education
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Good general standard of education
- 4 GCSE’s at Grade D/3 or above (or equivalent) ideally to include Math's and English
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills
