An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Specialist Rehabilitation Units based at the Colman Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic well motivated person to an Apprentice Level 2 or Level 3 Housekeeper for 13 month post. There is an opportunity for a person to develop knowledge and skills within the Nationally Commissioned area of work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a specialist unit.

The successful candidates will work as an integral part of the ward team working with patients with complex needs where services are Nationally Commissioned for the East of England Area and locally Commissioned from Norfolk. As part of the Colman Centre for Specialist Services you will be expected to work across the services. This will expose you to experiences in both Caroline House and Pine Cottage to learn from.

Excellent communication skills and a supportive approach to team working within a rehabilitation setting are key to the success of this service and the successful applicant. Demonstrating the ability to working within the Trust behavioural framework will be essential to the role.

An ability to manage your own learning supported by the team gaining new knowledge and skills to benefit yourself and the service will be vital. As part of the apprenticeship you will have study time built into the role. You will be expected to manage your study and work with the learning provider to gain the qualification within the 13 month period.

Good interpersonal skills are essential as is the need to be cheerful and courteous is essential at all times. The ability work with people and adapt your skills to different situation will be required.

Good computer skills, or the ability to learn will be required for this role is this is essential to this unit. Record keeping will also be key to this post.
