Employer Description

Samuels Lettings are a small independent estate agents covering residential sales and lettings in a town centre office.

They have an exciting opportunity for an administration apprentice to join their small team.

Main description

The role is office based working alongside a small team of lettings and sales negotiators. The role will primarily be to learn the skills necessary to hold a full time administrative position.

Daily duties include:

Responding to emails
Answering the telephone
Typing
Preparing property adverts and details
Maintaining the website and property portals
Arranging viewings and property inspections
Learning and using the lettings software system
Filing
Booking trades

Entry requirements

GCSE Grade A*-C (9-4) in maths and English is essential.
A-level English and Maths is desirable.

Skills required

Essential:

Typing skills.
Computer literacy .
Good communication skills.

Personal qualities
Essential:

Confident.
Ability to work well in a team.
Well presented (i.e. smart workwear).

Training to be Provided

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship

Things to consider

This role could involve long periods of working on a computer. You will need to work the occasional Saturday morning.

Future Prospects

The vacancy could lead to a full time position managing the office administration, possibly leading to a negotiator role in estate agency in the future.
