As part of the Business Support Team within Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service you will be well organised, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a positive, enthusiastic and flexible team player.
You will need to provide effective and efficient administrative support, maintaining and updating database records and carrying out general office activities, including answering telephone enquiries, financial administration, arranging meetings and minute taking. A good knowledge of social media platforms will be beneficial.
You will be committed to successfully completing a fully funded and supported Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
This role will enable you to gain experience and understanding of the public sector and achieve the necessary skills to gain a qualification. There will be contact with a wide range of people, including colleagues from other departments in the council and other partner agencies.
This apprenticeship is a Monday - Friday role and is based is Endeavour House, Ipswich.
