Kentwell Hall hosts various events throughout the year and we are seeking assistants in both catering and event staff to continue to grow and maintain our high standard of seasonal events and private functions throughout the year.
These positions as there nature suggests are varied and mainly weekend work only. Both roles require individuals who can deliver a high level of customer service and also be able to work in a team and at a fast fun and at times pressurised pace.
We are looking for the following individuals to apply.
Catering Assistants - to assist in our catering areas during our key events. The post involves working with our team to deliver a high level of customer service to our visitors, duties will include serving food and drinks, preparing food, using tearoom equipment, handling all types of payment transactions and stocking displays and cleaning.
Event Assistants - if you are a budding actor, entertainer, magician or crafter or just love working with children and the general public and feel that you could be part of our event activities (non re-enactment) then this could be right up your street. We are looking for individuals who have outgoing personalities and can work and entertain the public as part of some of our special event days and of course deliver a high standard of customer experience.
Work hours will be typically 10am through to 6pm although corporate and weddings will of course vary. Events are typically April through to November and manly weekends.
