This would be a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.Total hours per week: 37.5
What you will do in your working day
The role involves supporting other Engineers and Technicians to design a range of Highway schemes from footway improvements, carriageway resurfacing, drainage and larger projects including junction and roundabout design on projects ranging from £5k to ££100m. Initially new starters will be working on smaller schemes and after a short period of time will be expected to take ownership of smaller projects.
The training you will be getting
You will be enrolled with the City College Norwich to study an apprenticeship and gain a Level 3 qualification as a Civil Engineering Technician. You will also be enrolled onto a bespoke internal development scheme to support you to attain the knowledge, skills and behaviour to achieve your apprenticeship.
