Creative Design, Artwork & Print Apprentice (EVE-0001-23)TRAINING AND APPRENTICESHIPS IN CONSTRUCTION LIMITED
An excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly team designing & producing large-scale, bespoke items for the entertainment & charity industries. You'll be involved in the whole process, from customer liaison to using design art software, edits to final production, finishing processes, quality control & even print machinery maintenance.

Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. Some occasional weekend and evening work as required.

What will the apprentice be doing?
We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice who is keen to pursue a career in Print & Design Working within a company who produces bespoke items for promotional and entertainment purposes, the apprentice will be involved in all areas of image design and then print of products.
The role will be varied and will include:
- Design of artwork for our bespoke products (signs, leaflets, etc.)
- Use of print software (RIP, Adobe PS and Ai.)
- Producing printed matter (Vinyl and paper based materials.)
- Operation of Large Format Inkjet printers & plotters (60”.)
- Laminating
- Application of printed vinyl to substrate
- Cutting of substrates (PVC board, Correx etc.)
- Preparation of artwork for print
- Preparing artwork for plotter
- Communicating with clients via email and telephone
- Daily cleaning and general maintenance of equipment
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will work towards a Level 3 Print Technician qualification over the course of 3 years
Training will be delivered by a mix of regular online sessions and site visits by the Training Provider
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
There is the opportunity to move into full time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship

You should be aware that you will be placed with a host employer but you will not be employed by them. Your placement may change during the course of your apprenticeship but TrAC will support you with this and will also continue to support you into employment or further learning at the end of your apprenticeship.
