Sales and Customer Experience:

  • To convert all enquiries into sales from telephone and email bookings
  • To give quality and excellent customer service to Star Clippers customers
  • To deal with bookings from start to finish
  • To meet sales targets as set out by the Reservations Manager
  • Manage individual enquiries with follow ups
  • Ensure that all enquires and bookings opportunities are optimised with package add-ons
  • Input all booking details into the reservations system correctly and ensure financial information is accurate.
  • Assist at shows and events when required
  • Assist with marketing activity when requested.
  • Understand how to calculate prices and understand business terms

Administration and Ticketing:

  • Ticketing Star Clippers Holidays
  • Processing Payments from clients/agents
  • Processing Invoices for clients/agents
  • Sending Brochures to clients/agents
  • Imputing Customer Data for Travel purposes
  • Deal with enquires from customers/agents whom have reservations with Star Clippers over the telephone/email
  • Assist with problem solving, when requested by the Reservations Manager
  • Organise Package Elements with suppliers when finalising clients travel plans
  • Assist with overflow telephone calls for both new enquiries/existing bookings with Star Clippers
  • Assist with Banking Procedures at the end of each working day for the Department

Administration and Ticketing:

  • Establish good working relationships and communications with members of the team and external suppliers, to help achieve the goals of the Department
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Team with tasks appropriate to the smooth operation within Star Clippers

Other Duties:

  • The post-holder will be required to undertake such duties as may reasonably be expected.  All members of staff are expected to be professional, co-operative and flexible within the needs of the post, the department and the Company.
  • Duties of the post could vary from time to time as a result of new legislation, changes in technology or policy.  In this event, appropriate training will be provided.
