Anglian Precision has been established since 1993, specialising in the design & manufacture of multi-stage progression tools, sub contract wire erosion and the manufacture of small pressed components. They have an opportunity for an apprentice to join the team.
Training to design progression tools using customer’s drawings. An experienced designer would guide the successful candidate through the training period and where appropriate a specialist trainer would be employed for in house training.
Duties would include:
•To assist our design engineer and learn tool design using CAD/CAM techniques.
•Learning the basic principles of press tool making, a knowledge of which will be required to design the tools.
Some training on the machines would also be given. A driving licence would be very useful as some customer visits with our design engineer may be required
