The New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has awarded City College Norwich £6.1m to be used towards a venture that will consolidate the college's design, digital technology and engineering offerings at a new, purpose-built facility.
Scheduled to coincide with the 2020-21 academic year, the building will offer programming and creative media facilities as well opportunities to develop digital skills related to infrastructure development and automated manufacturing.
With the digital technology sector growing fast, now is a great time for students in the area looking to contribute to and benefit from emergent technologies. City College itself is set to see four times as many students attending such courses by 2022.
