EGG COLLECTOR / FARM WORKER AT WORLINGWORTH, SUFFOLK

Reporting to: The site Manager.
Reporting to Job Holder: N/A
OVERALL AIM OF THE JOB: To collect, grade and pack eggs for incubation. To help to maintain high level of bio security and insure animal welfare.
KEY TASKS WITHIN THE JOB
1. Responsible for the day to day collection of all the eggs.
2. Assisting to achieve target number of settable eggs per female and fertility level.
3. To grade and stack all eggs as required by the hatchery.
4. Monitor and report any required repairs to buildings and machinery to the appropriate people ensuring the site operates efficiently and safely.
5. Liaise regularly with line manager, and communicate with site staff and colleagues as appropriate, regarding successes and problems to ensure consistent flow of information.
6. Maintain all aspects of company policy on site (as per Company Handbook)
7. To assist with maintaining the health and welfare on site.
8. To carry out any other tasks relating to poultry farming as the company may reasonably require.
Job Type: Day shift/ Weekend job
Hours: Start and finish time to be confirmed by the manager.
Salary: £13.99 per hour
