You will work with a crew of military and civilian Electrical Systems Technicians on the installation, testing, repair, troubleshooting, general

maintenance and calibration of various electrical systems, controls and equipment on industrial/commercial buildings on base. You will install,

repair or replace, modify loads and test new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fittings, distribution boards, switches, breakers, and

controls located in and near installation buildings and structures. You will troubleshoot problem areas and inspect for defective equipment and faulty

wiring. You will use and maintain various types of hand held and power tools.

Applicant must be trained to City & Guilds 2360 part 1 & 2 or the equivalent in the appropriate subjects; an aggregate of at least 4 years (desired) formal recognized training which may include up to 3 years relevant full time study.

a. OR City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation, a recognized apprenticeship, at least 4 years (desired) relevant post-training experience.

b. OR a recognized craft apprenticeship and an aggregate of at least 6 years (desired) post training experience relevant to the grade in the private or public sector.  Be fully conversant with 18th Edition of I.E.E. regulations. Must possess City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition.

£12.45/£13.04/£13.64 per hour and recruitment Incentive of £238.10 is payable bi-weekly over 4 years subject to conditions
