Cranswick Country Foods (Norfolk) Ltd are seeking two Engineering Apprentices to become part of their team and learn to act as rapid response to machinery breakdown, carry out planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics of all key equipment etc.
7.am to 3pm initially on days but following the first year will go onto a shift based system of 40 hours per week less college attendance. Total hours per week: 40.00.
48 months apprenticeship.
The engineering apprentice will be working within the engineering department learning key skills related to the factory machinery; once the apprenticeship is complete the qualified engineer will become part of the engineering team.
The vacancy sits within the engineering department which supports the different areas of the factory.
The key parts of the role include:
- Rapid response to machinery breakdown.
- Data capture from key service and plant equipment.
- Planned maintenance on service and plant equipment.
- Fault diagnostics of all key equipment.
- Electrical installation.
In terms of day to day contact, this role will report to the Shift Technician.
