Redwings the charity is a provider of everyday care for over 1,500 horses and donkeys at ten centres across the UK, including five Visitor Centres. In addition we have around 500 horses out on loan in private homes.

Work Experience Placements

Equine Centre Team Members

South Norwich and North of Norwich

We currently have work experience opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with some horse handling experience to join our dedicated teams at our Norfolk Equine Centres.

Working under the supervision of the Equine Centre Managers and Team Leaders you will work as part of team ensuring that our horses have access to suitable water, feed and shelter, hygiene is maintained and that paddocks are checked and clean.

This is a busy environment and students will learn to understand the importance of effective communication, observation and unified team work. They will need to liaise regularly with line management and be able to follow instructions as well as using their own initiative.

Please note we can only accept applications from students or individuals over 16 years old with some horse handling experience. We welcome applications not just from students, from people looking to get back into the work place or to support their own self-development. Please get in touch-we would love to hear from you!
